Middle of June! Holy SHIT! I’m soooo ready for summer! 😍 What will you do to escape the HEAT…? I’m looking at a good shade, ice tea, and swimming.
When you think about a Nicolina Martin book - what are the words that spontaneously come to mind?
And when you think about AUTHOR Nicolina Martin - perhaps like when you mention me to another reader - what do you want to say about me and my kind of stories?
And don’t say ‘absent’ 😂 I know I was last year. Sometimes things just happen and you have to prioritize, but I’m working on rectifying that, and I truly have no intention of disappearing, no matter if the new releases come at a slower or faster pace.
-The Russo Saga is up for preorder - including CAPO - the last PITCH BLACK book everyone has specifically been asking for. RUN to go get it, don’t walk!
-WEST COAST DOMS will be a complete series. I’m soon halfway through the second last book, and the releases of both books are set for spring of 2024.
-Next up is a new mafia series based on the world from Sugar Princess. I can’t WAIT to begin that one. I love my mafia romance!
After that… what do you want me to write? I have too many ideas. I need help, lol.
Love you all! 🥰🥰🥰 You are the ones I write for. I hope you know that. For you, and for myself.
HEAT - BOOK 1 IN THE RUSSO SAGA
EXCERPT HEAT
The street is filled with people, the air finally pleasantly warm and not hot. I decide to go for a walk before I head back to the hotel. I only make it a few steps, then a hand closes around my wrist and I’m yanked into a dark alley. The next moment I’m pressed up against the wall, a hand over my mouth.
I inhale to scream when I realize it’s Nathan. Nathan Russo. The first feeling is relief, but then I meet his ice-cold gaze and widen my eyes as instinctive fear makes my chest tighten. He looks lethal. He looks like I’ve wronged him, as if I’ve wounded him, and it hurts. He looks like the attentive man on the plane, the charming stranger at the airport, the obnoxious hot guy in the bar. He looks like someone I’m falling so hard for it devours my whole being, and I have already forgotten why I ran.
“Did you think you were getting away, sweetheart?”
I try to answer, but I can’t produce anything but incoherent groans. I jerk and twist my head from side to side, trying to break free.
“No screaming, love.”
I shake my head, pleading my wordless promise. He holds my gaze a few moments longer, then nods and removes his hand. I inhale to protest being dragged into an alley and manhandled, but when he crushes his mouth against mine I forget everything I know about putting together words into sentences. One of his hands strokes along my naked thigh, the other grips the back of my head, yanking me even closer. The shockwave of pulsating heat between my legs makes me cling tighter, desperate for more of his skilled touch. He devours my mouth as his hand wanders up under the hem of my dress, finding my wet core.
“Syd, I think you missed me,” he mumbles against my lips as he rubs my pussy through the fabric.
